Sunshine and a light breeze were most welcome for 11 boats to compete for the Dr. White Cup on Saturday, April 20th.

Three races were sailed with Jon Nuttall showing his prowess with two firsts and a second.

Dave Griffiths and Maurice Clark gained a second and two thirds, and Peter Rose finished with a second, third, and a fifth.

Junior Training went ahead last Wednesday evening with 12 youngsters, nine of whom were newcomers. 

Shore-based to start, and with reasonable weather conditions, most managed to get afloat.

An encouraging beginning to the season. Some of the new trainees are in need of protective clothing, so a request has been made to the parents of older members to pass on any outgrown  gear.

Behind the scenes, preparations are well under way for TSC Annual Regatta in June, and the Merlin Rocket National Championships in August.
