GOODWICK United secured back-to-back unbeaten titles after a late Rhys Dalling winner against Tenby on Saturday.
The Phoenix Boys have been outstanding all season and clinched their third Manderwood Pembrokeshire Division One title in a row at the tail end of March.
Tenby went into the match full of confidence after their 5-0 win at Merlins Bridge in midweek and they gave a good account of themselves at Phoenix Park.
With time running out it seemed like they had done enough to earn a point but league top scorer Dalling had the last laugh when he took his tally to 24 goals for the league campaign.
Tenby keeper Dylan Noot failed to gather a powerful header by Sean Pemberton from a Rhys Jones free kick and Dalling was on hand to finish from close range.
Delighted Goodwick manager Chris O’Sullivan said: “I set my side a target to go the whole season unbeaten, to be fair they did it and made me feel very proud of their tremendous achievement.
“When you are the top side in the county everyone wants us to fail, but I applaud my squad who stayed focus for every league game, they have produced a remarkable achievement showing tremendous character and desire - not losing a game in two seasons, plus gone the extra mile by winning the title three times in a row.”
A first half hat-trick by William Davis inspired Monkton Swifts to a 4-1 win at Merlins Bridge.
Liam Butland added to their tally after the break, the three points taking them above Tenby to third in the table.
