IT was with much sadness that the club recently learned of the passing of Stuart ‘Captain Hook’ Fecci.
Vice commodore Marc Shepherd has extended Tenby Sailing Club’s condolences to Stuart Fecci’s family.
He said: “A stalwart of the club, never afraid to step up to help, Stuart was a friend to everyone who knew him, and quickly became friends to those who were meeting him for the first time, often with the tide in, the sun out and the boys jumping in.
“Always with an amusing anecdote, he was good company for all.
“Fiercely patriotic, he really enjoyed match days and would stand for every Wales national anthem.
“We all shared many a laugh with Stu and will miss him dearly.
“Our love and best wishes go out to Sally-Anne, Samuel, Bethan, Edward and all of his family during this difficult time.
“The wake will be held at the club on the afternoon of Thursday, January 30th.”
