There was a mixture of cup and league action in Pembrokeshire last weekend with most of the sides in action.
Kilgetty’s quest for the Senior Cup came to a ‘swift’ end when they lost 4-0 at home to Monkton Swifts in the first round of the competition.
The quality between the two teams was clearly on show as the Division One league leaders ran riot against their Division Two opponents.
Carew are through to the next round of the competition after they beat Narberth 3-0.
Alex Bailey, Scott Ferney and Jordan Richards got on the scoresheet for the away side.
There was also Third Division Cup first round action as Carew II defeated Camrose 4-1, with Adam Muskett and Harvey Langstone scoring two goals each.
Cosheston have been one of the form sides in recent weeks and that continued as they beat Haverfordwest CC 1-0.
Both Cosheston and Carew II will now go into the hat for the second round draw of the Third Division Cup.
Saundersfoot Sports’ winless run in Division One continued after they were well beaten by Clarbeston Road 5-2 in their latest fixture.
Jack Franklin and Nick Allen scored what turned out to be consolations.
There was disappointment for Lawrenny in Division Two as they lost heavily 7-0 away to Hakin United II.
The result leaves Lawrenny on eight points, with the team just two points above second from bottom side Solva.
In Division Three, Pembroke Boro remain rooted to the bottom of the table after they narrowly lost to Fishguard Sports II 3-2.
Daryl Mansbridge bagged himself four goals as Tenby beat Haverfordwest CC II 6-2 in Division Four.
Jerome Mansbridge and Mike Ryder completed the scoring which leaves the home side second in the table, just five points behind league leaders Broad Haven II with a game in hand.
St Clears II earned three valuable points in their fight to avoid relegation with a convincing 5-1 win over Neyland II.
Phil Evans bagged himself a brace, with Andy McCabe, Tom Hollins and Harry Griffiths also helping themselves to a goal.
They are now on four points having achieved their first win of the season.
Narberth II’s game with St Ishmaels II was postponed.
Lastly in Division Five, Saundersfoot Sports II beat Angle in a thrilling contest.
The game ended 3-2 to the away side with Nick Cope scoring two goals and James Richards the other for Saundersfoot Sports II.
Lee Dignan and Dylan Jones scored for Angle.
There was more humiliation for Lawrenny as their second team suffered an embarrassing 7-0 defeat at home to Kilgetty II.
The supporters who went to Pembroke Boro II v Herbrandston II were treated to a spectacular contest.
In a game that could have gone either way, it was Pembroke Boro II who came out on top winning the match 5-4.
Braces from Stuart Slater and Owen Wallace helped the home side on their way.
Steffan Sandford also helped himself to a goal.
