Kilgetty AFC were selected by the FAW to provide 14 mascots for the Wales vs Germany 2023/24 UEFA Woman’s Nations League match held at the Swansea.com Stadium this month.

14 Kilgetty Girl’s Team players were selected to take part with the match taking place on Tuesday, December 5.

Along with the Kilgetty Girl's mascots, players and parents went up in force on two coaches with, 90 plus supporters to watch the match.

Head Girls coach and Kilgetty AFC director of football, James North, organised the event.

“Everyone had a fantastic evening, with the majority experiencing an international match for the very first time,” said James.

“This trip wouldn't have been so successful without our local support, so a massive thank you to Big Brum's who sponsored the transport and Taff Valley Coaches for getting all the Kilgetty players and parents up to the match,” continued James.

Kilgetty AFC Girl's players, coaches and parents thank the FA Wales for providing the fabulous official pictures and for giving the Kilgetty girls a fantastic experience being mascots. It was an experience they won't forget.
