On Friday, Dyffryn Taf School held their annual Year 5 Day where pupils entering the school in 2007 had the opportunity to spend the day at the school. The recently trained peer mentors had an important role to play in welcoming the new pupils and introducing them to this new environment. Many of the Year 5 pupils had never been to Dyffryn Taf before, so had a busy day exploring the school. They took part in different lessons, activities and games and were shown around the school campus. The peer mentors were on hand throughout the day to help and answer questions.
