The West Wales Riding Club (WWRC) held their annual general meeting at the Rising Sun, Pelcomb Bridge, Haverfordwest. It was chaired by Mr John Davies for the 34th year! The WWRC is a successful and friendly club with 110 members at present. It is run by voluntary committees and is always appealing for volunteers to help with events and competitions. Anyone with some spare time to offer is urged to contact WWRC, in particular to assist with running the Area 21 Hunter Trials in April which is a new qualifier here in Pembrokeshire. Training rallies are currently being held three times a week for club members and dressage and show- jumping competitions are held monthly. All levels of horses and riders are catered for with a professional yet friendly atmosphere, with plenty of encouragement given to those with young or inexperienced horses.
