Tenby’s RNLI crew launched into action in rough seas, following a report of a person that was stuck up to their waist in sand with the tide coming in around them.
The all-weather lifeboat was launched shortly before 12.30pm on Friday, April 5, and as the volunteer crew made best speed to the scene at Worley Point, Coastguard teams on the beach reported that the casualty was now out of the sand and was safe and well.
