A statutory notice has been served at a residential area of Narberth in an attempt to tackle ongoing issues concerning fly-tipping.
County Councillor for Narberth’s urban ward Cllr Marc Tierney told members of the Town Council at their meeting this month that the statutory notice has been served at Queen’s Court to make good the area of all rubbish.
Councillors heard that there was a big problem with fly-tipping in this area and that some 60-70 bin bags had been removed from the vicinity in recent times.
Cllr Tierney reported that the option of CCTV is being considered by the landlord to deter the fly-tipping as well as a new shed/storage facility for the residents’ bins.
