Concerns over a scheme to allow motorhomes to stay overnight in a Narberth car park have been kept on the agenda by town councillors.

A proposed trial scheme for overnight motorhome and campervan parking at some of Pembrokeshire County Council’s car parks was overwhelmingly rejected at a special meeting recently.

The ‘Pembs Stop’ scheme had been touted for four car parks - including Narberth’s Town Moor, as well as North Beach in Tenby.

County Councillor for Narberth’s Urban ward, Cllr Cllr Marc Tierney reported to members at this month’s meeting of the Town Council that he had attended discussions at County Hall in relation to the the scheme and stated that the matter had been referred back to the Cabinet for the final say.
