Long Course Weekend is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with Hywel Dda Health Charities.

This exciting collaboration continues the strong relationship between the charity and one of the nation’s most prestigious running events - the Wales Half Marathon stage of LCW - which is renowned for its scenic route and challenging course.

The triathlon event which attracts thousands of runners from across the globe to Tenby and its surrounding area will return on June 29, 2025,

Hywel Dda Health Charities will be the official charity partner of the event for the fourth consecutive year, and will once again be encouraging participants to raise funds for local NHS services.

For the past four years, funds raised at the event have helped the charity provide items and activities which are above and beyond core NHS expenditure such as enhanced hospital facilities, advanced medical equipment, and patient wellbeing initiatives.

Tara Nickerson, fundraising manager of Hywel Dda Health Charities, said: “We are offering our supporters exclusive opportunities to take part in events across the whole of the Long Course Weekend Wales.

“Our limited number of free spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis, so if you’re interested, please get in touch!”

In addition to fundraising, Hywel Dda Health Charities will once again provide exclusive support for entrants taking part on behalf of the charity. This includes comprehensive fundraising and promotion support, and a charity pack including a branded T shirt, water bottle and medal.

The renewal of this partnership also celebrates the collective effort of NHS staff and the local community. With many NHS employees expected to take part in the race, the event will highlight the resilience and dedication of healthcare workers, while also promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for all.

Oliver Duckett, global relations manager at LCW said: "We are delighted to continue our relationship with Hywel Dda Health Charities. The enthusiasm and dedication of their team, runners, and fundraisers adds incredible value to our event.

“Over the past four years over £30,000 has been raised by athletes attending LCW Wales,” he added.
