Doors open at 6.30pm with the film starting at 7pm.

Based on the novel by Megan Hunter, the film stars Jodie Comer and Benedict Cumberbatch as two survivors of a fictional future Britain where catastrophic floods have left the country submerged. Cumberbatch (who is also the producer) called it ‘a stunning tale of motherhood and a striking and frighteningly real story of a family fighting for survival that will make everyone stop and think about what kind of planet we are leaving for our children.’

The film received nine nominations at the 2023 British Independent Film Awards.

Admission is £5 on the evening; £4 for Members; £10 for a family of four.
