Sir, Yes - What IS happening to Tenby? Thank you Mr. John James, of Surrey. You have hit the nail on the head! (16/1/2015 edition.) I am absolutely appalled to see our classy Tenby becoming another Blackpool. To include 'Poundland' as part of a very impressive new development, with very high class apartments and the new Premier Inn, I feel is disgraceful and well out of character. M & S food outlet would be more in keeping. I can think of many other more appropriate shops - anything is better than Poundland. Why did the residents of the town not have a say in the matter, as all the people I have spoken to, have the same view.
