Pembrokeshire firefighters were called into action yesterday to rescue a horse that was stuck in marshland.
At 9.02 am on Tuesday, April 15, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Pembroke Dock and St David’s Fire Stations were called to an incident in Caerfarchell in Pembrokeshire.
Crews responded to one horse, measuring approximately 15 hands high, that was stuck in marshland. Crews utilised large animal rescue equipment, strops and a telehandler from a nearby farm to free the horse.
Crews left the scene at 11.32am.
