A man is due to appear in court next month, charged with robbery, possession of a bladed article in a public place and criminal damage following an incident in the town centre of Tenby.

Dyfed-Powys Police has confirmed that no one was injured during the incident that occurred at a restaurant located at the seaside town’s Tudor Square, late on the evening of Sunday, March 30.

“Forty-four-year-old Mohammed Miah, was charged with robbery, possession of a bladed article in a public place and criminal damage,” said a spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police.

The defendant appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, April 1 and has been remanded in custody to appear at Swansea Crown Court on Friday, May 2.
