VEHICLE owners are advised to leave clear access in the Penniless Cove Hill and Castle Square areas next Sunday night, 30th March, to facilitate the arrival of the large crane for the lift-in at Tenby Sailing Club at about 4am.

Stored boats will then be lifted back into the harbour on Monday morning.

Last weekend saw the club hosting the first half of a regional Dinghy Instructor Course with candidates from Tenby Sailing Club, Neyland Yacht Club and Pembroke Haven Yacht Club led by Taff Owens of Pembrokeshire Powerboating and Sailing Academy.

The candidates covered instructor practices, crewed dinghy methods and presentation skills, with the course continuing next weekend.

Last weekend also saw Saundersfoot Sailing Club hosting the 420 squad for their winter training with TSC supplying a safety boat for the weekend.

The local group Miltones entertained Members and friends last Saturday with their popular brand of music.

The five piece band performed free of charge, and collected a sizeable pot at the end of the evening to donate to the mental health charity Mind.

At the same time Tom Eyre and his band of volunteers were working below to finish the changing room refurbishment.
