SIX crews enjoyed a good breezy afternoon at Tenby Sailing Club, sailing two races in autumnal conditions, giving rise to at least eight capsizes.

Thankfully no injuries or damage was suffered by crews or boats.

Alistair Lindsey set the courses, aided by Steve Leach, in the absence of Dewi Jackson who has been a devoted member doing race officer and safety duties throughout the season. Dewi has gone to Southampton as a Maritime Officer Cadet which includes a BSc in Maritime Science.

Junior training last Wednesday went ahead indoors, followed by Terry Evans’ weekly BBQ to satisfy the hungry youngsters. Training continues every Wednesday evening until September 11th.
