PEMBROKESHIRE Schools FA recently held their end-of-season presentation over two evenings at Heatherton.
Squads from u9s to u16s enjoyed their time on the activities and food before the actual presentation took place.
The coaches summed up the season, praising the development of all players, before presenting each squad with PSFA medals. Awards were given out for each age group.
The medals and awards were presented by former Pembs Schools players who are all currently representing Wales: Harri and Dan John, WSFA u18s; Imi Scourfield, Wales u19s and Ffion Bowen, Wales u17s.
The under 11s Tom Yeoman squad were also presented with their traditional County Schools bootbags.
A special mention should go the u11s Girls and coaches who qualified for the John Mann Festival Finals in Cardiff.
They were narrowly beaten in the semi-finals by Wrexham.
The u15s girls missed out reaching the semi-finals by fine margins after an excellent season.
Several of the Pembs players attended Welsh Schools u14s Boys and Girls and u16s Girls trials this season.
Ada Woodman was successful and is a member of the WSFA u16s Girls Squad.
All the players, coaches and parents were thanked for their commitment and dedication over the season.
Two coaches are stepping down from coaching this year and they were thanked for their services - Shaun Donohoe from the u15s boys who has been a successful coach for the last three years and Angie Nicholls who has been coaching schools’ football for 25+ years, but will remain in her admin role.
PSFA are grateful to Charles and Andy and all the staff at Heatherton for once again hosting two fantastic evenings and to the squad trophy sponsors.
