KILGETTY AFC Women put on their Christmas jumpers for this week's training session to support Save The Children.

Christmas Jumper Day is Save The Children's annual event which raises money for the children who need it most.

Organised by Kilgetty captain Maisie Sherratt, the team joined millions of people across the United Kingdom (and beyond!) who put on a festive knit at their workplace, school or with friends, making donations to help give children the magical future they deserve.

By dressing up and being silly they are helping kids facing serious issues like war, hunger and poverty.

Christmas Jumper Day has raised over £30 million for children in the UK and around the world since it began in 2012 and Kilgetty AFC Women are glad to join with this great cause.

Maisie said: "As Kilgetty AFC Women’s Captain, For Her Champion and Under 9s Girl's Team Helper it's important to take action and support children facing difficulties.

“By joining Save The Children's Christmas Jumper Day we at Kilgetty AFC Women can stand by and help vulnerable children, and hope that they have opportunities for a safe and better life."
