WITH Narberth failing to get two senior teams out for the first time in many years, several second team players stepped into the firsts to take on the top team in the Pembroke County Cricket League’s Division One.

In a disappointing day for Narberth, second team regulars Tim Webb (28) and Lewis Jones (3-22) both produced impressive performances in the six-wicket defeat against table-toppers Neyland .

Basement side Narberth now need a big second half of the season now to stay in Division 1.
