Dyfed Powys Police, Pembrokeshire Division, recently arranged a multi-agency meeting between partners working in the community. The group included representatives from the National Park, National Trust, Environment Agency, RSPCA, local authority dog wardens, Environmental Health and the RNLI. The purpose of the meeting was to forge closer links between Neighbourhood Policing Teams around the division and partners working in the community. Inspector Dave Sweet from the division said: "Our partners are working in the community with many similar goals. If we can work together more closely as a team we will be able to achieve far more and this will only benefit the people living in Pembrokeshire. "Local neighbourhood priorities are set monthly at community forums and these often include complaints regarding dog fouling, litter and noise pollution. With closer working with our partners, we will be in a better position to deal effectively with these issues. "We also want to be in a better position to help our partners achieve their aims. Joint working will benefit everyone involved."
