An emergency road closure has been put in place for the main route into Tenby town centre this evening.

The closure on High Street, from its junction with White Lion Street, south to its junction with Crackwell Street, for one night (Wednesday, April 10) is to allow for Welsh Water to carry out emergency water mains repairs

The alternative route is as follows:

• Southbound traffic will diverted via White Lion Street, South Parade, St Florence Parade, Belmont Arch, Lower Frog Street, St Georges Street and Tudor Square

• Northbound traffic will be diverted via St Georges Street, Upper Frog Street and White Lion Street.

The restrictions imposed will not apply to those vehicles associated with the works, emergency service vehicles or vehicular access to affected properties where practicable and will only apply during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs.
