A community campaign in a Pembrokeshire village calling out thoughtless dog owners, who don’t pick up after their pets, seems to making a difference.
County councillor for the ward of St Mary Out Liberty (New Hedges), Cllr Rhys Jordan commented on the public signage: “It’s been wonderful to hear that the dog fouling campaign is starting to have a positive impact on the area.
“While there are still some isolated incidents, the majority of the ward is much improved.
“I know that most residents are responsible dog owners, but for the small minority who aren’t, I would urge you to think about the child or adult who steps in dog foul. It’s not just unpleasant - it’s disrespectful to your neighbours and our community,” he added.
