With Pembrokeshire County Council considering plans to turn a section of the A478 road coming into Tenby from 50mph to 40mph, one local county councillor has asked for evidence to justify such a proposal.
At the recent meeting of East Williamston Community Council, Cllr Jacob Williams referred to the item he raised at a previous meeting regarding Pembrokeshire County Council's proposal to introduce a 40mph speed limit on the A478, running from near its junction with Sandyhill Road all the way through to Moreton.
Cllr Williams said that he had objected to the proposal and requested the evidence on which it was based.
He said that no response from the highways department had yet been provided to him though, almost a month later.
