This week, Dosbarth Cymraeg from Tenby Junior School held a mini-premiere of videos made by the children.
Emma Hughes, their teacher, along with Catrin Griffiths (Welsh advisory teacher) and Duncan Whitehurst (ICT advisory teacher) worked with the children showing them how to storyboard, write a script, use a video camera and edit their movie on a computer.
The class produced four short videos on topics ranging from Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn to a news report about a school canteen strike.
The idea behind the project was to develop learning skills, Welsh literacy and ICT skills. Parents were invited to the premiere and everyone took home a DVD of the videos.
Two of the videos will be shown at the Pembs. Schools Film and Animation Festival at the Merlin Theatre on July 12.
