A fundraising ‘Santa Fun Run’ to be held in the lead up to Christmas in Narberth will benefit the town’s Food Bank.

Narberth and Whitland Rotary started this event pre-pandemic in 2019 and it continues to capture the imagination of children and adults alike.

The 3k Fun Run (or stroll) around Narberth will take place between on Sunday, December 10.

Santa suits can be collected from the Narberth RFC clubhouse at 10.30 am on the day, and get ready for a warm up at 11.45am.

The run will start at 12 noon and finish at Narberth RFC car park, where Santa’s Sleigh will be to greet children and adults taking part.

A free glass of mulled wine and a mince pie each will also be given to those taking part.

It is sure once again to prove an amazing sight watching over a 100 Santas in their bright red outfits taking to the streets of Narberth!

To help with promoting the event D P Building Supplies Ltd have kindly sponsored the printing of six colourful banners which will be seen soon around Narberth.

Rotary president Phil Thopson remarked: “We are extremely grateful to the sponsors of the banners and also Andrew Rees butchers who have willingly sponsored the flyers.”

In the unlikely event that the Santa Fun Run has to be cancelled due to severe inclement weather, all entry fees are non-refundable and will be treated as a charitable donation for Narberth Food Bank and other Rotary good causes.
