A special Tenby Community Festival is underway - with lots of different events taking place around the seaside town, with a focus on raising funds for charity from many of the performances.

On Wednesday, September 25, at 7.30pm there will be a Songwriters Showcase in Church House, where those in attendance can hear songwriters talk about their inspirations for their songs, and perform them.

The following day will see Tenby Male Choir perform a concert in St Mary’s Church at 7.30pm

On Friday, September 27, there is a world premier of ‘A Devilish Affair - Nina Hamnet and Aleister Crowley’ in Church House, at 7pm.

Saturday, September 28, will see the Free Community Fun Day take place in Battery Gardens from 11am to 4pm.

Also on the Saturday, The Slipway Ukes will be performing in Church House at 7pm, with all ukulele players invited to join in. Donations at this will go to Paul Sartori.

On Sunday - Tenby Civic Society is organising a heritage day with the chance to visit lots of places not normally open to the public.

You can book a slot to go and see the Masonic Lodge; St Mary's Church Bell Tower, and a loom behind the scenes at the Church and the Mayor's Parlour.

You can also go on a guided walk of Tenby's lifeboat stations, and a guided walk around the historic town walls.

Over the same weekend, there will be a Psychic Fair in the De Valence Pavilion, from 10am to 5pm each day.

Monday September 30 - will see an evening of Pint Sized plays in Church House – six altogether, at 7.30pm.

Into the next month, on October 1, a talk on Celtic Mythology takes place at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery at 6.30pm.

On October 3, there will be an interactive 'Tome of Terror' storytelling session in the Mayor's Parlour at 7pm.

On October 4, Tenby Male Choir will be holding their season finale at St Mary's Church.

On October 10, there will be a talk at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery about RAF Carew Cheriton.

The final event of the festival is the first evening of Tenby Arts Club on October 11, with a storytelling performance of the Welsh folktale, 'Y LLyn' at St Johns Church Hall at 7pm.
