The Easter Duck Race for the village of St Florence will take place on April 18.

The community event will begin at The Ford from 1 pm.

County Councillor for the ward Cllr Rhys Jordan has also given thanks to those that have helped with carrying out improvements and enhancements to the village’s common area.

He said: “A huge thanks and congratulations are also in order for St Florence Community Council, especially Cllr Alan Jones, who has expertly managed significant improvements to the common area next to ‘The Ford’.

“These enhancements promise to deliver many years of enjoyment to residents and visitors alike. I look forward with great anticipation to the grand opening of both these improved community spaces.”
