For years, Paul Sartori Hospice at Home has been a beacon of comfort and support for those facing life’s most challenging time. From dedicated nurses working tirelessly through the night to the provision of essential equipment, hospice at home has played a crucial role in ensuring patients experience dignity and compassion within their own homes in their final days.
“As Trustees, we’ve witnessed the profound impact of a kind nurse working quietly through the night to make sure a patient is comfortable. We understand the importance of specialised equipment that makes independence more manageable. Our community in Pembrokeshire has always excelled in looking out for each other, especially those nearing the end of their lives,” expressed David Evans, one of the charity’s dedicated Trustees.
The appeal seeks to encourage the community to join together in providing the precious gift of dignity to future patients by including the Paul Sartori Hospice at Home Service in their wills. Changing a will to include a legacy is considered a simple and impactful way to contribute to the ongoing support of the Foundation’s mission.
The appeal emphasises the importance of not only remembering one’s family and friends in their will but also extending the unique ‘Paul Sartori’ care to our family and friends who may need hospice at home care in the future.
“Your gift will be treasured by everyone here as they care for those nearing the end of their life, secure in their own home. It also ensures the ongoing support and care for loved ones left behind,” emphasised Ros Raymond, Trustee.
The Trustees highlight that leaving a legacy is not only a practical and straightforward process but also an opportunity to extend the reach of the hospice’s compassionate care to anyone in Pembrokeshire who may need it in the future.
Individuals are encouraged to consult with their solicitors to make this meaningful contribution, ensuring that the legacy of care and support continues for generations to come.
