Speeding concerns on Narberth’ Station Road has seen a proposal to turn the 40 mph zone into a 30 mph.
County councillor Elwyn Morse told members of the town council at their meeting this month that a 30 mph limit will replace the current 40 mph limit from the Crinow junction up to the start of the 20 mph limit.
Concern was also raised at Station Approach over vehicles parking at the turning area in front of the railway station and Cllr Morse was asked if it is possible to have signage installed there.
It was also reported that where the pavement has been widened and is completely flat, vehicles are mounting the pavement to pass other vehicles.
Concerns have also been raised regarding the speed of the vehicles travelling down St James Street. County Councillor Marc Tierney has spoken to ‘Speed Watch’ about this.
