Begelly’s County Councillor has been discussing road and pavement safety once again with local councillors.

Speaking at a meeting of Kilgetty/Begelly Community Council recently, Cllr Alistair Cameron said: “There has been longstanding concern from local residents about traffic speeds and pavement safety as well as entering and exiting the junctions for Broom Lane, Fir Grove, and Parsonage Lane.”

Petitions have been submitted in the past to the Council calling for measures to make the road safer.

“There have been differing views amongst some residents over what should be done. I would therefore like to set up a working group of local residents to discuss in detail the various options to make this road safer and easier to walk along the pavement,” he added.
