Work will be carried out in Mayfield Acres in Kilgetty to repair the road, pavements, and drainage to bring them up to standard so that the Council can adopt them.

County Councillor for the ward Cllr Alistair Cameron told members of the Community Council this month that work will start before the end of March.

£75,000 of the funding is from the Welsh Government and the residents have contributed just over £25,000 of the costs.

He said that Pembrokeshire County Council is also providing some funding.

“Thank you to the residents who have worked together and contributed to ensure the adoption can go ahead,” Cllr Cameron said.

Ways to improve the drainage along Parsonage Lane are also to be considered.
