A popular Pembrokeshire pub on the seafront has been put up for sale.

Saundersfoot’s The Old Chemist Inn which has a beachside beer garden has been put on the market by licensed property specialists agency Sidney Phillips asking for freehold offers of around £835,000.

Located along The Strand of the seaside village, the pub and restaurant has been run by Rita and Ollie since the summer of 2015.

The premises is described as being situated in an ‘outstanding location’ with access onto Saundersfoot Beach, and as well as containing a ground floor bar and restaurant, and a lower ground floor bar, it also contains four self contained flats (leased).

“In agreement with our Freeholder, we have agreed to have the pub sold,” posted Rita and Ollie on the establishment’s Facebook page.

“We are looking forward to our next chapter. In the meantime it’s business as usual and we hope to see your continued support until it changes hands.”
