Tenby and Saundersfoot areas were hit by a power cut this morning (Friday, October 6) as more than 9,000 properties were affected by an electricity outage.

Postcodes SA67, SA68, SA69, SA70 and SA86 suffered the outage at around 10.35 am, with the National Grid stating that a ‘fault on the high voltage network’ was the cause

A total of 9,261 properties covering Tenby, Saundersfoot, Pentlepoir and Kilgetty were affected.

The power was restored shortly before 11 am, after the company said it was working hard to resolve the issue.
