Plans have been put forward to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority to convert a hairdressing salon in Saundersfoot to a residential apartment.

The application (reference: NP/24/0492/FUL) is for the Ocean Hair salon located at Brewery Terrace.

The scheme proposed is to convert the salon into a one bedroom apartment (marketable dwelling).

The proposal would result in the loss of a retail unit (class A1) at ground floor level, however the unit is not located on the main retail location for the seaside village.

The existing seven parking spaces are proposed to be divided into two spaces per apartment.

The application will be considered by PCNPA’s development management committee at a later date.
