It is hoped that the new Play Park for Kilgetty will be open before Easter. Cllr Jerry Long told members of Kilgetty and Begelly Community Council recently that banners telling people that it is coming soon have been placed around the park perimeter, whilst feedback on pictures of the design had been positive.

“We are now waiting for confirmation of the start date and estimated completion date so we can plan the opening event.

“We are confident that the new Playground will be open by Easter if not before. Good Friday is the 19th of April,” he added.

The Clerk reported that due to supply issues slight changes to the design were needed. Cllr Long proposed the changes be accepted; with all councillors in agreement.
