Kilgetty’s new play park is now due to open in May after a slight delay to work.

“Unfortunately, the contractor had some supply issues with some of the equipment coming fro abroad,” explained Cllr Jerry Long from Kilgetty and Begelly Community Council.

“Most of the equipment is now on site but the opening will now be May.

“As soon as the park is signed off by an inspector, we will organise a soft opening for the local school to try out the park and then have an official opening event.

“Thank you for your understanding and patience but the playground will be worth waiting for,” he added.

The play park is located alongside Kilgetty’s community gardens.
