Five new Trustees were welcomed at the recent annual meeting of the Pembroke Dock Heritage Trust - two of whom represent the Pembroke Dock Town Council which financially supports the Trust annually.
Current Mayor Councillor Pam George – who has been involved in heritage projects in the town over many years – is joined by Councillor Claire Francis-Hartery while stepping up are two Volunteers who have both served in the RAF, Trevor Clark and Tim Payne.
Trevor already heads up the Collections team and leads on the process to achieve museum accreditation status in the near future. A retired Wing Commander, Tim as Outreach Officer has been leading on the Trust’s policies and procedures and takes on the Company Secretary’s role.
Former Mayor Jane Phillips, previously a Town Council representative, was also voted to continue as a Trustee. Jane is a Volunteer in the Centre’s very popular Coffee Shop.
At the Annual General Meeting, warm tribute was paid to former Chairman Gareth Mills who has retired as a Trustee but friends are delighted that he remains a member of the Volunteer Team.
