MP for Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire, Nick Ainger, visited Pembrokeshire College recently to meet AS Politics and Law, and AS Media students.
Mr. Ainger talked to the students about what had motivated him to become an MP and also gave them an insight into what his duties at the House of Commons involved.
This was followed by a 'question time' session, which presented the students with an opportunity to ask course-related questions to help them with their studies, and a chance to ask about current issues.
The students were very appreciative of the visit.
"I found it very informative," commented one student. "It was especially interesting to hear Mr. Ainger's views on current issues in the news."
The session involved joint provision students, so students from Pembrokeshire College were joined by pupils from Tasker Milward, with Alex Viol from the school concluding the session with a vote of thanks.
