On Saturday, July 4, the wedding of Thomas Luke Edwards and Jessica Jayne Williams took place at Ebenezer Baptist Chapel, Cold Inn.

The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Craig Gove and the organist was the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Eileen Thomas.

The bride is a national accounts executive with Festive Productions, Cwmbran, and is the daughter of Judith Williams and the late John Williams, of New Park, Wooden. The bridegroom is a chartered civil engineer with Arup, Cardiff, and is the elder son of Arnold and Amanda Edwards, of Crossways, Upper Hill Park, Tenby, and the eldest grandson of Harvey and Joan Luke, of Tenby.

The bride was given away by her younger brother Jacob Williams, and she wore an ivory dress of satin and tulle, the bodice being encrusted with pearls, diamantes and crystals. She also carried a beautiful bouquet of pink peonies, with pink, lilac and cream roses.

Jessica was attended by two bridesmaids; her best friend Miss Tara Worrall and Miss Zoe James, cousin. They wore baby pink long empire line dresses with pearls and organza overlay on the bodices, also with matching boleros, and carried smaller versions of the brides bouquet.

The best man was the bridegroom’s younger brother, William Edwards, and the ushers were Tim Wroblewski, and Chris Butler (friends of the bride and groom).

After the ceremony, a marquee reception for 120 guests was held at the bride’s family home in Wooden, with musical entertainment by William and Kizzy, and there then followed an evening of dancing into the early hours with a pig roast and a firework display.

Jessica and Thomas honeymooned for a fortnight in Las Vegas and New York and have already made their home in Whitchurch, Cardiff.
