At the recent Annual General Meeting of Narberth Town Council, Cllr Elizabeth Rogers was elected Mayor of the town for the fifth time.

Cllr Rogers is the daughter of past Mayor, the late Don Morgan.

Cllr Denise Rigby will be the Mayoress for the fourth occasion. Both the Mayor and the Mayoress are looking forward to renewing friendships with Mayors, Councillors and other organisations throughout the County and beyond over the next twelve months.

One of the Mayor's first duties at the first Council meeting of her year in Office was to ask for nominations for ‘Narberth Person of the Year’.

This is a special person that goes above and beyond. It could be a good neighbour, a sports coach, someone who raises money for good causes etc. It must be someone who gives their time freely on a voluntary basis to benefit others.
