A wonderfully entertaining afternoon was held at Kingsmoor sports ground last Saturday when the Kilgetty Begelly Country Fayre held its new show.

The afternoon was opened by well-known Kingsmoor Sports Association stalwart and trustee, Mr. Des Stone, who was introduced to the crowds by volunteer MC, the popular Mr. Graham Evans.

Graham then entertained the public, informing them of the events and charities on display during the afternoon, the most popular of which was the novelty dog show.

Showers during the afternoon did not deter the crowds who carried on regardless, with Diabetes UK, Air Ambulance, Harriet Davies Trust, Multiple Sclerosis, Begelly Church, Begelly/Kilgetty Community Association, Kilgetty WI, Kilgetty Junior Cricket and Stepaside School benefiting, as well as many other stalls.
