Members of West Wales Wadoryu Karate Association (Pembroke Dock and Carew Karate Clubs) recently held a very successful Karate course and Kata (forms) competition at Tenby Leisure Centre, where over 40 students took part. They were under the watchful eyes of Sensei Graham Thomas 5th Dan, Martin Morgan 3rd Dan, Paul Rogers 2nd Dan, Tony D'Arcy 1st Dan, Ian Williams 1st Dan, Keith Roberts 1st Dan and Stephen Walters 1st Dan.

Students were divided into age and grade categories, with the following results:

Five and six years: 1. Kyle Jennings; 2. Steven Brown; 3. Alex Boswell; 4. Kobey Thomas.

Seven, eight and nine years u/g 9th and 8th kyu: 1. Curtis Jennings; 2. Callum Ninnis; 3. Ryan Ninnis; 4. Liam Thomas.

Seven, eight and nine years 7th kyu and above: 1. Ryan Christopher; 2. Thomas Boswell; 3. Adam Cressey; 4. Angharad Boswell.

10-12 years 7th kyu and above: 1. Elliot John; 2. Shaniece Raimann; 3. Niamh Pugh; 4. Jay Stewart.

13 years above 7th kyu and above: 1. Rhys Parsell; 2. Kama Thomas-Williams; 3. Peter Orchard; 4. Daniel Thomas.

Men's and ladies (seniors): 1. John Cressey; 2. David Pugh; 3. Lain Thomas; 4. Lynn Christopher.
