Pupils of the area’s secondary school are being surveyed to see if there is a demand for a youth centre in Kilgetty.

In a report to Kilgetty and Begelly Community Council from the County Councillor for the ward, Cllr Alistair Cameron said that Pembrokeshire County Council is issuing a questionnaire to pupils at Greenhill School to see if there is demand.

“The Council does not have the resources to fund a youth worker although it can provide other support such as safeguarding clearances,” Cllr Cameron explained in his correspondence to local community councillors.

“If the Greenhill survey identifies a demand, I will be looking to find sponsorship for a part time youth worker,” he added.
