Manorbier will once again swing to the music of the ever popular RinTins this month who are making their fourth visit to the castle.

Their blend of gipsy swing rhythms and pounding oompa beats gets audiences dancing at festivals throughout the UK and overseas.

This year they are accompanied by Horning Glory, a frenetically wild brass sextet, and Manorbier’s very own Swinging Nettles

Swing the Castle is a great event for all the family. You can sit and relax, enjoy the music, a burger and a drink from the bar, even bring your own picnic...or you can get up and dance!

There is plenty of room for everyone - revellers enjoying the wild musical ride, plus mums and dads with children – and grandparents. Everyone can live the music!

The band stage is set up in front of the medieval chapel and great hall, and as evening falls the atmosphere becomes quite magical.

Swing the Castle 2018 raised over £1,300 for MIND Pembrokeshire, and the profits from this year’s will again support this excellent cause.

It will be used to support their resource centre in Haverfordwest and their work supporting mental health in our community. Use of the castle has been donated free of charge.

Swing the Castle takes place on Friday, August 9. The gates open at 6 pm with live music from 7 to 10 pm.

Ticket will be available at the door - Adults £10, Families £25. Parking is available in the Manorbier beach car park.
