The Royal Voluntary Service of Pembrokeshire will be holding a series of fundraising events over the next few weeks.
Celebrating 75 years of providing services to reduce isolation and increase independence for elderly and vulnerable people in Pembrokeshire, the Royal Voluntary Service's volunteers deliver 50,000 meals-on-wheels a year around the county.
It also provides transport to 125-plus people per week, along with County Cars trips, mobile DVD and book library, lunch clubs, Darby and Joan clubs, Withybush tea bar.
They are now looking to introduce a handyman scheme to assist with practical tasks around the home, with the monies from the forthcoming fundraising events being put towards this.
The first event will be a Vintage Tea Party at the Picton Centre in Haverfordwest, on Wednesday, October 16, from 2 to 4 pm.
An Auction of Promises will follow that on Tuesday, October 29, from 10 am to 12 noon, at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel, Narberth, while on Tuesday, November 12, a Prize Bingo Night will be staged at the British Legion in Hamilton Terrace, Milford Haven, at 7.30 pm.
