With Jack and the Beanstalk performances starting on Friday, December 13, the Torch Theatre in Milford Haven is delighted to have the support of Valero Energy Corporation as its generous Pantomime sponsor this year.
Around 10,000 young people and adults see the pantomime annually, including 4,000 school children and teachers; educational packs with activities are distributed to support learning to each school that attends.
The Valero Energy Corporation is the largest global independent petroleum refiner and the world’s second largest corn ethanol producer, also producing renewable diesel. Valero has been in Pembrokeshire since acquiring the Pembroke Refinery in 2011 and is delighted to support the Torch.
“This year marks the 60th anniversary of Pembroke Refinery which has a long and proud tradition of supporting the arts in Pembrokeshire,” said Valero Pembroke Refinery’s Public Affairs Manager Stephen Thornton. “Jack and the Beanstalk is a firm family favourite, and we’re thrilled to play our part in helping this season’s production at the Torch.
Artistic Director Chelsey Gillard said: “A huge thank you to everyone at Valero for this generous support.”
