SPAN Arts is thrilled to announce the return of the celebrated Narberth A Cappella Festival on March 7 and 8, a unique and immersive celebration of the human voice.

With a rich history spanning over 25 years, the festival continues to captivate audiences, drawing participants from across the UK to a weekend brimming with music, connection, and creativity.

This year, the festival focuses on the power of community voices, featuring workshops and performances.

The festival begins on Friday evening with the welcoming Singing Feast, held at the Scout Hut in Narberth. This magical evening combines the comfort of a shared meal with the uplifting harmony of voices joined together in song, setting the tone for an unforgettable weekend.

On Saturday, a series of inspiring singing workshops, led by some of the most talented vocal practitioners from across the UK, will be held at Bethesda Baptist Church, Narberth. These cater to singers of all levels, providing opportunities to learn new skills, explore diverse vocal traditions, and connect with fellow enthusiasts.

Workshop facilitators for 2025 include multi-instrumentalist and Welsh National Opera composer Stacey Blythe, Arabic-British media composer Yasmine Latkowski, experienced vocal artist Phoebe Martha, African-Welsh engineer and music director Jay Okwulehie, Glorious Chorus founder Helen Yeomans, and North Wales choir leader Jamie Dawes-Hughes, who tours with the Spooky Men’s Chorale.

The day will culminate in the grand finale concert at St Andrew’s Church, Narberth showcasing an eclectic mix of local and UK-wide a cappella choirs.

Immerse yourself in a festival that celebrates the transformative power of music. Whether you’re a seasoned singer or a newcomer, the festival offers something for everyone, from the intimate joy of the Singing Feast to the dynamic energy of the workshops and the uplifting finale concert.
