FUNDRAISER Dwayne Head (originally from Sageston) is currently cycling from Brixton, London to Tenby via the South Coast (Bournemouth, Devon, Bristol and Cardiff) carrying all his kit - including a tent on the bike, with the aim to complete the 524-mile journey in five days, finishing in Tenby this (Friday) evening.

He’s taking on the challenge for Operation Smile United Kingdom - a charity that offers free, effective surgery for cleft palette, cleft lip and other facial deformities to children from low income countries.

Dwayne is hoping to be joined for the final part of his journey by some of his family and friends, as by then he will probably be in need of some moral support!
