There have been two Lent lunches in Tenby so far. St. Mary's Church reports that both were well attended.
There are four more frugal meals left to go
The next Lent Lunch on Wednesday (March 26) is at St. Johns Church.
All the money raised is rushed as soon as possible to Christian Aid to help starving families around the world.
On three subsequent Wednesdays before Easter there is another lunch at St. Johns (April 2) and the Salvation Army take the last two Wednesdays before Easter Sunday.
On offer - to reflect world hunger - is a scrumptious bowl of home-made soup, a roll and a cuppa.
Entrance is £4, though you are invited to give more if you can.
It's a good way of marking the run-up to the most important part of the Christian year - Easter.
Anyone who can't spare time for lunch is asked to leave something at the door. Or with the Malcolm Stacey at 9 Crackwell Street, Tenby.
